Kathleen Bandaruk, soprano soloist, graduated from Chapman University in Orange, CA, with her music degree in Vocal Performance. Under the direction of such notable singers as Dame Carol Neblett of Metropolitan Opera fame and famous soprano and teacher, Lynn Cole-Adcock, she gained a level of professionalism and prowess to her instrument which has lent itself to performances across the United States. From rock bands in San Diego, to opera festivals along the east coast, she boasts not only a wide variety of musical styles but the kind of skill and versatility that only comes from experience and true talent.
Kathleen’s solo career has taken her to many states including Maine, Colorado, California, Texas and New Jersey. She has been a featured soloist with the New Jersey MasterChorale alongside members of the Philadelphia Orchestra right here in Haddonfield, NJ on several occasions. She had a leading role in Benjamin Britten’s, Albert Herring with the Monteux Opera Festival, in Maine and also performed as one of the sprites in Mozart’s Magic Flute.
Kathleen was a talented and sought after vocal teacher at the New Jersey School of Music for several years and had private voice studios with many loyal students in both San Diego, CA and Longmont, CO.
Her professional music career didn’t stop there; she created and ran the popular San Diego Caroling Company which was featured at various venues throughout the San Diego metro area during the holidays. Kathleen has also been a music contractor for events and weddings.
She is currently singing with a praise and worship team and also a cantor and soloist at local churches in the south Jersey area.
